Martina Bevis is a classical guitarist from Prague, Czech Republic. She has played since the age of six. After being accepted into The Prague Conservatory of Music, she earned her bachelors degree under Vaclav Kucera and Stepan Rak . Martina has played classical guitar in castles all over the Czech Republic as well as in a Czech rock band which produced original music. After teaching in the school system in Prague, she decided she wanted to travel and to study English. She lived in England and Chicago before moving to Key West to be closer to family here. Martina and her wife, Jen, are proud to call Key West their forever home. Martina is a certified personal trainer at WeBeFit but will never give up her passion for the classical guitar. After performing at parties and at Walk on White, Martina collaborated with a talented group of dancers - Key West Modern Dance. After a very successful first show at the Studios of Key West, titled “Strings at the Studios,” they moved to Tennessee Williams Theatre in Key West and have had sold out shows four years in a row.  From classical themes to her own rendition of popular sound tracks and rock...she proves nearly every music style can be played on a classical guitar. 

 

Martina is available to play weddings and special events. She is also now taking guitar students.
